What Is An Accounting And Payroll Administrator?
An Accounting and Payroll Administrator works under the general supervision of accountants in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirement and corporate policies. They conduct day-to-day operation including processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer invoicing and various accounts reconciliation. Accounting and Payroll Administrators also manage government remittances including GST, QST, HST, WSIB and source deductions.
Other duties could also cover everything from coordinating office administrative procedures to delegating work and deadlines to preparing operating budgets. They will calculate, prepare and distribute wages, calculate overtime and deductions, prepare and receive invoices, arrange payments and prepare reports related to your accounting activities.
