The Structural Engineering Design and Technology program is a comprehensive learning opportunity if you want to pursue a career in structural engineering and is open to both beginners and those with previous experience in civil engineering. Students will develop their knowledge in areas such as structure analysis, calculations and design principles, using state of the art design software programs including AutoCAD, MicroStation and STAAD Pro. You will also work with project management software such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project and Sage Timberline. The structural design project will provide you with the opportunity to apply your structural design principles using STAAD Pro.
